ASPCA 1

My first shot done on an ASPCA commercial for Zoic. It was done in Shake. I had to pull bluescreens for the dogs, match them to the backplate, create shadows, and try correct for the different sizes in shooting between them.

ASPCA 2

This is the second shot I did for an ASPCA commercial at Zoic. I actually used this shot, and a different 3d shot, to help me learn Combustion. In this one I had to pull bluescreens from all the dogs and cats, line them up on the backplate, color correct them, and fade them out. Just had to keep putting more and more dogs into this shot.

Door Dolly

I was pretty inspired by the David Fincher type stuff in Fight Club and Panic Room for this shot. Essentially it's a camera dollying through the peephole of a door. Most of the shot was done in Maya using camera projection, then some of the extra effects were added using Shake.

Milk Moustache

This shot is a small portion of a short film entitled Sin City Breakfast Tacos. It was obviously inspired by the Robert Rodriguez film, and I need to finish up the rest of the shots. Just some basic keying from the worst greenscreen ever (a paint U-haul box) and color correction.

Eating Tacos

Another shot from Breakfast Tacos.

Pots

This shot was done to help me learn SynthEyes and how to properly matchmove a shot. I also used it to learn a bit more about particle effects. Tracked using SynthEyes, 3d done in Maya, and the color correction and layering were done in Shake.

Arm Screen

My very first composite, and it shows. I tried going for a Minority Report style look in this one. The dystopian, washed out blue colors and the video billboard. Almost all of it was done in Shake. The clouds in the sky replacement were created by learning some basic fluid effects in Maya.
